Privacy policy
This privacy policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you use Quick Remind (the "App").
Information we collect
When you use the App, we collect certain information about your device ("Device Information"), including but not limited to stored appointments and patient reminders, and authentication information about your email account in the form of OAuth 2.0 credentials ("Authentication Information").
All collected information (Device Information, Authentication Information) remains on your device only.
How we use collected information
Device Information
We use Device Information to verify compatability between the operating environment and the App, and to populate your reminder templates with your appointment and patient reminder information in the App. This information is necessary for core functionality of the App.
Authentication Information
We use Authentication Information to send emails on your behalf by communicating with the relevant API. This information is necessary for the core functionality of the App.
Use of Google User data
The App uses OAuth authentication to access your Google account through an access token. This token is stored locally on your device only. Granting access to the App gives us permissions to send emails on your behalf. This does not include any other permissions, such as reading emails. The App communicates directly with the Gmail API when sending an email on your behalf and does not communicate with any third parties.
Changes to the policy
This policy may change over time and should be reviewed periodically. Changes are effective after they are posted on this page.
